Enrolment types
These are broad descriptions of enrolment types, please contact our school to confirm eligibility for enrolment.
Geographically isolated
The student's home is more than 16km from the nearest government school (distance from the student's home must be measured by the shortest practical route).
Medical
The student has a physical or chronic health problem or is experiencing an emotional condition of such severity that attendance at a local school on a full time basis is not possible for a period in excess of 16 weeks.
Itinerant lifestyle due to occupation
The student is mobile for the majority of the school year due to family employment/business:
a student's principle place of residence changes at least twice in the school year
a student spends at least 60 days of the relevant school year away from their principle place of residence
if from interstate, a student spends at least 120 days of the relevant school year in Queensland
Home-based by choice
This enrolment category is open to all students of compulsory age for a fee.
Travelling within Australia
The student and family are travelling for recreational purposes for a period in excess of 16 weeks. This type of enrolment also incurs a fee.
